Role Summary:

The Sales Associate (SA) will act as an integral partner in driving the sales results of Wedge Clamp Systems (WCS) in their assigned Sales Region. To achieve this, the SA will dedicate a majority of their time establishing sales rapport with all automotive repair business prospects within the region. This will be achieved primarily through telephone contact, email and scheduled face to face contact. Working in close partnership with the Chief Operating Officer, US Operations and Sales the SA will maintain a focus on creating new relationships with automotive repair businesses to sell the suite of WCS and services. Sales results will be achieved by maintaining a high degree of phone activity (primarily outbound calls) and face to face interaction while maintaining a focus on rotation through the entire territory striving for full client coverage.

Responsibilities:

The SA:

  • Is responsible for achieving specific sales targets on an annual and quarterly basis.
  • Is responsible for thorough territory rotation and coverage of the assigned sales region through telephone and face to face contact
  • Shall develop a thorough understanding of the full suite of WCS and services available. It is expected that an ongoing commitment to personal development will be maintained to ensure up to date product knowledge
  • Is expected to increase sales in the designated region from top supporting clients in addition to expanding sales from developing clients or non-supporters
  • Is expected to develop sales proposals, emails or other sales messaging pertinent to prospecting and to maintain and create a thorough customer database for their respective region
  • Shall travel as required within the assigned region.
  • To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven outside sales experience
  • Solid understanding of the automotive collision repair business as it relates to shop efficiency and business needs
  • Through understanding of the sales associate role in developing and creating leads
  • Strength and comfort level in presentation skills as well as professionalism in a client role
  • Strength in client service with an ability to be resourceful and provide solutions
  • Ability to prioritize time, work independently and to use sound business judgment in making decisions
  • Desire to work in a performance based environment
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) a bonus
  • Applicants must be over 18 and have a valid driver’s license

Compensation Package:

  • Excellent base salary + commission structure
